It all started with the soap! 🧼
Here at Clean Temple, we love the handmade process. We create small, handmade batches so that we can manage quality and detail in every step of the process. Making soap is our passion; keeping your temple CLEAN is our goal. Our soaps are perfectly imperfect as they are cut by hand. Each bar may be slightly different, but they are equally beneficial and beautiful; just like you.💗
Clean Temple soaps are made with 60% or more olive oil, making them efficient cleansers while providing soothing, healthy moisture! We use only essential oils unless there is a special request for a fragrance oil. Gift baskets can include a variety of items including but not limited to soaps, candles, lip balm, body butters and shower steamers. You get to choose!
Our founder Martha Jackman-Bivas is an occupational therapist, a volunteer at her local soup kitchen and a mom of 5.
Clean Temple Body Essentials was created out of her love for humanity and all things good. She believes that your body is a temple and that it should be treated as such. It should be kept clean both inside and out. She wants to remind you that your thoughts, actions, feelings and words all contribute to your temple's well being.

Clean Temple products are created in Montclair NJ. Some of our favorite products can be found locally at: Little Falls Farmers Market, Nutley Farmers Market, Woodland Park Farmers Market.
We are often at local events, farmers markets, and fairs selling our products, fundraising for the community, or teaching soaping classes. Please stop by any time you see us at an event!
